iPhone X Plus leak confirms Apple’s design ahead of September release
In a little over a month, Apple is expected to reveal the next version of the iPhone. Many are predicting a larger ‘iPhone X Plus’ type handset that will have the same all-screen design as the current iPhone X but with a 6.5-inch screen.
This seems to have been further confirmed by Apple fans digging through the framework for Apple’s PassKit UI system on the latest version of iOS 12 beta.

The framework has glyph (icons) that can be used do designate devices for payments if a company or app wants to use Apple Pay. And it appears that iOS 12 just gave the game Away.
As well as showing the iPhone X Plus outline, Guilherme Rambo, an iOS developer, also came across an icon design for a new iPad.
He calls it the 2018 iPad Pro which, as he points out, is much squarer than previous designs of the tablet.
Whilst the leak is not 100% evidence of Apple’s plans, it chimes with rumours it’s going to release an iPhone X with a 6.5-inch screen as well as the 5.8-inch standard model.
